Bantwal :  The BC Road-Dharmasthala stretch of the national Highway is in a horrible mess. People travelling through this road have to bear with the thick cloud of dust that emanates whenever a vehicle passes through and are forced to   close their eyes and nose.

The main reason for this problem  is the act of the Highway Department in closing the potholes on this road with jelly powder. But the closure of the potholes has led another problem making travel on this stretch nightmarish.

The patch work done by the highway depeartment condemned by the locals.  First it dumped jelly powder and then jelly pieces making travel almost impossible, forcing locals to curse the authorities.
