New Delhi : Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda is learnt to have turned down the State BJP Presidentship post offered to him by the high command. Highly placed sources said the CM has politely said no to the post offered to him by  the BJP National President Nitin  Gadkari.

The CM is learnt  to have told the leadership that he does not need any post and  would continue to serve the party as an ordinary worker.

Sources said there was a chance of the high command offering the Deputy CM post to Ashok in order to appease the Vokkaliga community which is up in arms against dislodging  Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda.
