Belthangady: The Madanthyar Branch of the Vridhi Credit Sauharda Sahakari Ltd, was inaugurated by former chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda.

Speaking on the occasion, Gowda urged  co-operative societies to come to the aid of  farmers in times of need.
Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Sacred Heart church, Madanthyar, presided over the function. K Padmanabha Kottari, District BJP President, K Prabhaker Bangera, former MLA, Sulochana GK Bhat, President of Jawahar Balbavan Society, M Tungappa Bangera, Member of State Backward Classes Commission,  Vinay Nayak, President of Vridhi Credit cooperative society, Suresh Shetty, its Vice President, directors and others were present.
