Puttur : Former chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda on November 22, Thursday inaugurated various developmental projects in the taluk. Among the projects included the inaugural of the first phase of the TMC fish market building and the first phase of the Puttur Taluk Mini Vidhana Saudha, Puttur Uppinangady road extension works and foundation for the second phase of Mini Vidhana Saudha and fish market.
Addressing a function held at Town hall in this regard, he said developmental programmes will get a boost when elected representatives are determined. He claimed that the BJP government during his chief ministership had instated record number of developmental programs. He also opined that development should not be restricted to any particular area.
Puttur MLA Mallika Prasad, presided over the function, Monappa Bhandari, MLC, Shashiprabha, TP Chief, Kamala Anand, TMC Chairperson, Appaiah Maniyani, Puttur Town Development Authority President and others were present.
