Ullal : The members of DYFI staged a protest at Ullal on April 28, Monday against the Anti- Naxal Force who have killed the sentiments of minorities.
Addressing the protestors, former DYFI district president Sunil Kumar Bajal said that minorities have been loyal supporters of Congress from decades, but the party has always harassed the through the police or the Anti-Naxal Force
Bajal also said that Congress came to power only due to the support of minorities, but they have failed to protect the interests of the minorities. Instead of working for their betterment, the party uses them for votebank politics, he added.
The state government which has announced the compensation of Rs 10 lakh to Kabeer’s family must be increased to Rs 30 lakh, he informed.
DYFI Mangalore urban president B.K. Imtiaz, leaders Mahabala T. Deppelimar, Ashok Shetty, Jeevanraj Kuttar, Rafiq Harekala and Sunil Tevula were present.
