Mangalore : Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) state president N. L. Bharathraj around 1,80,000 government posts are vacant in the state and urged the state government to sanction funds for employment generation in the upcoming budget session.
He was speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Feb 27 Monday. He said that the investors’ meetings held all over the state recently is not a friendly initiative to farmers who own small agricultural plots. Because it is governmental plan to make industrialization of agriculture, which gives no profit to the farmers.
He also said that around 30 percent of budget must be reserved for education in order to improve the quality of education in the state.
