Mangalore : The members of district unit of DYFI launched day and night hunger strike in-front of DCO gates Demanding that the release of three youths in the murder case of Bajrang Dal activist Rajesh Poojary, here on Wednesday June 4.
Addressing to the audience after inaugurating the day and night hunger strike DYFI state president Muneer Katipalla, said that Bajrang Dal activist Rajesh Poojary, who was killed on March 21, the police arrested three innocent youth from Mallur in Bantwal taluk.
Further he alleged that, the police have fixed the three innocent youth in the murder case. The leaders of Political party also not speaking on this case. The district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai could not taken any action to release them.
The arrested youths came from poverty family. Hussain sells pickle, Irshad making coolie and Imran works as a lorry driver, Muneer said.
Family members of the arrested youth also took part in the hunger strike.
