Mangaluru: DYFI staged protest demanding closure of skill game and gambling centres functioning in Kuloor area, at Panjimogaru on Friday.

DYFI district President Dayananda Shetty in his address said that skill game and gambling centres are the reason behind the illegal activities which are happening in Kuloor area.

“Mangaluru City Corporation should review the license of skill games, because many skill game centres are also functioning as gambling centres,” he said.

DYFI district Vice-President B K Imtiyaz said that police should take stern action against such gambling centres.

A memorandum was submitted to the Assistant Police Commissioner.

DYFI leaders Santhosh Bajal, Asha, Prameela, Saadik, Usman, Santhosh D’Souza and other were present.
