Mangalore :  The Urva unit of the  DYFI  staged a protest on Monday near Urva Store Junction seeking uniformity in prices of hotel food.

Imthiyaz, DYFI Mangalore unit President said the food rates of hotels in Mangalore were so high that  common man cannot afford a meal in hotels.

He urged the state government to start hotels on Kerala and Tamil Nadu lines.

DYFI leaders Sunanda Konchady, Manoj Kumar, Santosh Bajal and others took part in the protest.
