Bengaluru: In a surprising development in DySP Ganapthi’s suicide case, Ganapathi hasn’t mentioned any sort of information regarding the harassment on him by a minister and two police officials in the station diary. This might be a ray of hope for George, Mohanty and A M Prasad to get a clean chit from CID.
As per the rules police officials have provision to mention the harassment on them or any other issues which disturbs them to perform the duty in the station diary. CID officials have said that since 1994 – 2016 no such things were mentioned in the station diary.
“If Ganapathi would have mentioned anything in the diary then it might back the final words of Ganapathi said during the interview to a local news channel,” said officials.
The CID is looking for official documents to find any proof for the DySP Ganapathi’s final statement, as it is difficult to judge the case based on the verbal statements.
