Chikkamagaluru: The anticipatory bail application applied by Bajaranga Dal activist Praveen Khandya, who is suspected to be the prime accused of DySP Kallappa suicide case, has been rejected by the second additional sessions court, on Monday.
The anticipatoey bail petition was submitted by Khandya’s wife Priya through advocate Raveendra. Khandya has gone missing from July 5. On July 4 DySP Kallappa had committed suicide after dealing for Rs 10 lakh in a abduction case. Five people including Kallappa Handibag were named as accused in abduction of Tejas Gowda.
One more accused of this case Nataraj, who was involved in kidnapping of Tejas has also filed a bail application.
Two other accused Abhiram and Joy Milton who have been arrested by CID in Tejas’s kidnap case and Kallappa’s suicide case were sent to judicial custody on Monday.
