Mangalore: An Eid-Milad party of 200 people in city on Sunday last ensured that Hindus and minorities will live in peace and mutual co-operation in Bolar circle. Organised by two Muslim donors, Rahamatuallah and Khaleel, the party went on well on Sept 19 evening.
Ashok Kumar, a civil engineer and Moses Jayashekhar, DK education officer, joined in and issued Eid greetings to Muslims who concluded Ramzan fasting recently, to clear all misunderstandings.
Mohd. Kunhi, a publisher, said that the multi-cultural society was a system created by God and blessed by Quran.
Rahmatullah welcomed the gathering and proposed a vote of thanks to the guests, Chame Gowda, DDPI, K.M. Ashraf, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind among others were present on the religious brotherhood occasion.
