Puttur : The efforts put in by scholars and the intellectuals have helped in protecting the rich culture of the nation, said Sri Mohandas Swamiji of Manila Sridhama.
He was speaking at a religious meeting organised as part of the Brahmakalashotsava of Lord Mahalingeshwara Temple on May 10, Thursday. He also urged parents to inculcate noble virtues in their children.
Panja Bhasker Bhat, noted scholar, gave a religious discourse on the occasion and said reading of religious scriptures will wash away one’s sins.
