Mangalore: A lady student of the Mangalore Institute of Fire and Safety Engineering (MIFSE), college is reported missing Madhushri since January 7 and at the same time a boy student of the same college from Tenka Yermal in Udupi Mohammed Tahir was found missing and had not reported to his classes ever since. Their disappearance on the same day has been linked after a search was made for Madhushri by Bhajarangdal volunteers who contacted the boy’s parents at his Udupi home to check the where abouts of the Muslim boy friend and found that both students from the same college had developed friendship and might have run away from the city to an unknown place.

Madhushri’s parents form Uppalige in Puttur Taluk contacted the Kankanady police station to complain about their missing daughter and the police came on the same to detect what was happening and found that both the boy and the girl from different communities were absconding from the class room since Jan.7.

The police found that the missing persons’ mobile phones had been switched off and some conversation had taken place from Mdhushri’s mobile phone to her boy friend.

The search for Madhushri by Bhajarangdal volunteers after her mother contacted them has alerted the Kankanady police to keep track of the two missing students from their college jointly.
