Sullia : Vanitha Garugunja, an engineering student commits suicide on Jan 3 Tuesday morning.

The deceased Vanitha, daughter of Garugunja Bojappa Gowda of Kallappalli is said to be doing her engineering at KVG Engineering College.

Vanitha who stayed with her younger sister, in a rented house at Parivarakana had also taken sleeping pills on Monday and taken treatment in the private hospital.

On Tuesday morning, as usual Vanitha’s sister went to college and Vanitha who was alone in the rented house hanged herself.

On Monday, she had taken sleeping tablets and had to be treated in hospital.

The reason behind the suicide is not known. A case has been lodged at the Sullia Police Station.
