Mumbai : Bollywood actress Esha Deol got engaged to her boyfriend Bharat Takhtani at her residence in Mumbai on Sunday, February 12, 2012. The engagement was a very simple ceremony.

Esha was wearing a pink sari with green embellishments and Bharat Takhtani donned a white shirt, white jacket and a pair of black trousers. Only close friends and relatives of the couple were invited to attend the function. Jaya Bachchan was the only prominent face among the people who attended the ceremony.

Esha Deol flashed her engagement ring to the waiting photographers as the couple stepped out and posed for pictures for them.

Esha Deol is the eldest daughter of actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra.
