Mangaluru : A 27-year-old event organizer was found dead in the bathroom of a rehabilitation centre in Capitanio on Friday, April 3. 

The Mangaluru Rural police said Alwyn Fernandes, a resident of Kalmady in Udupi district, had been staying in the rehabilitation centre since last few months.

On Friday morning, he was found hanging from the window of bathroom in the centre. The reason behind the death is not know, the police said.

It is said, once he had survived a suicide attempt recently and was admitted to a rehabilitation centre.

He has left behind a brother.
