Udupi  :  Udupi’s controversial former MLA Raghupathi Bhat would be marrying  for the second time. His marriage will be held at Karamballi Sri Venkatramana Temple on October 9 at 8.30 am.  Informing this, Bhat said he would be marrying Shil[a Shastri of Barkur and that this was a marriage fixed with consent of both families. He  also informed that this is the second marriage for Shilpa and that only close friends have been invited.

He said he was making the announcement in the wake of rumours in the society. It may be recalled here that Bhat’s first wife Padmapriya had died under suspicious circumstances in the year 2008. A few months ago, he was caught in another controversy when a sex CD reportedly featuring him was circulated in the town.
