Mangaluru: A ganja peddler has been nabbed by the excise officials in the city. Excise police nabbed him near Kadri Park and seized 950 gms of ganja and a vehicle, on Friday.

Saif Mohammad of Balmatta is the arrested person.

As per the sources, police stopped his two-wheeler near Kadri Park and inspected him. Ganja was hidden in the two-wheeler. Value of 950 gms of ganja and seized vehicle will be nearly Rs 2,25,000.

Accused has been produced before the court.

Excise Joint Commissioner Rakendra Prasad and Deputy Commissioner manjunath directed the squad. Inspector Sunitha, Staff Santhosh Kumar, Umesh, Sunil Shet and Chaniyappa Naik were present during the possession.
