The Senior Agricultural department officers raided a Horticultural department a store house situated at Bendoorwell on June 22, Tuesday.
During the raid, the team led by Thimmappa, Chief Accounts Officer of Agricultural Department found many packets outdated Vermicomposts , pesticides, and liquid composts.
Speaking on the occasion, Thimmappa said that according to the rule, the amount of pesticides bought would be delivered to the farmers. The store house in-charge is responsible to take special care of its maintenance. Further the authority will submit the report to the Chief Executive Officer within a week for more investigation.
Joint Director of Agriculture Department, Padmayya Naik, and Assistant Horticultural Officer Chennarase Gowda were present.
