Bangalore: Under the deft leadership of green Army (Hasiru Sene) and state Ryots Association (Raitha Sangh), hundreds of disappointed farmers have arrived in Bangalore and conducted a protest rally on Wednesday morning, in view of serious drought situation in the state in 24 districts out 30, and in 123 taluks out of 150, and putting forward a vociferous demand to write off all debts of the suffering farmers in the past.

The processions of uneasy and fighting farmers have started from city Railway station to storm Vidhana Soudha, Kodihalli Chandru, leading the bitter farmers, told newsmen.

The helpless farmers want new loans too, apart from non-payment of old loans, it is learnt here.
