Mangalore : In an accident took place in the morning, father and daughter died when their 2 wheeler was hit by a lorry at Yekkur Gorigudda at 8:15am.

Sushmitha, a I BA student of St. Agnes College, who was pillion riding with her father, died on the spot. . Her seriously injured father was rushed to Omega Hospital, but died shortly afterwards.

Sushmitha, who had to attend a camp, left home early, but met with an accident although traffic was light. A lorry which was going at top speed hit the scooter throwing away father and daughter on the road and Sushmitha died on the spot.

Ramesh is known for riding carefully. The lorry, which hit the scooter, disappeared from the scene.
