Karkala : After poisoning his young differently abled son pushed him to a well later ended his life by hanging self at Kervashe on June 18, Saturday.

The deceased are Krishna Poojary and his son Dinesh (26). Krishna Poojary’s wife who is ill, had been to Mumbai for treatment while the father and son duo stayed back.

It is believed that Krishna Poojary was greatly agonised and worried over the future of his son, resulting him taking such a drastic step.

Senior police officials including SP Vishnuvardhan and Karkala DySP Vijay Prasad visited the spot.
