Udupi : Women police arrested father-son duo on Monday May 31 under POCSO act on the accusation of sexually harassing a minor girl.

The arrested accused are identified as Shivashankar (58) and Sachin (28) of Ballari origin.

Shivashankar works as food delivery agent, while his son Sachin was working in a canteen at Manipal.

They sexually assulted a 14-year-old girl in Parkala and child helpline  officials rescued the victim girl.

SI Violet Femina has registered a complaint in this regard under the guidance of women police station inspector Pramod Kumar.

Kapila, rescue officer, Ashok and Jyoti of women police station took part in the operation.
