Udupi : Rishabh Shetty, director of the Kannada film, Kirik Party got married to Pragati Shetty, a software engineer working in Bengaluru, at Koteshwar near Kundapur, on Thursday.

The wedding took place at Sahana Convention Centre at Koteshwar. It was a traditional Hindu wedding. Actors Sudeep, Rashmika, Yagna Shetty, Meghana Gaonkar, Sheetal Shetty, Samyukta Hegde, and the hero of Kirik Party, Rakshit Shetty, were among those present. They wished the couple well on the occasion. A large number of people attended the wedding.

Mr. Rishabh Shetty told presspersons that it was an arranged marriage. Ms. Pragati Shetty was chosen by his parents. His parents had been asking him to marry and settle down for last three-four years. Hence, he decided to adhere to their wish. “I am feeling very happy,” he said.

Mr. Rakshith Shetty said that Mr. Rishabh Shetty was like a brother to him. “We both have been in the industry for eight years. All our fans are happy,” he said.

Sheetal Shetty, actor, said that all relatives and well-wishers were searching for a bride for Rishabh Shetty for the last four years. “But finally he selected Pragati Shetty. We are all happy for him,” she said.
