Belthangady: A total of 34 Endosulfan affected people and also differently abled people  from Barya, Tekkaru and Puttila villages were distributed a total financial aid of Rs 1.7 lakhs accounting to Rs 5000 each on behalf of MN Rajendra Kumar, Chairman of  SCDCC Bank at a function held on November 20, Monday.

Speaking on the occasion MN Rajendra Kumar said there were plans to provide aid even to affected people and differently abled people of Kokkada and Shishila area. He also urged people to allocated at least a part of their income for such works.

Subrahamanya Gowda,Chairman of Barya Seva Sahakari Bank, presided over the function. B Niranjan, Director of DCC Bank, Rukmini, Barya Panchayat President and others were present.

A blood donation camp was also organized  in association with Indian Red Cross Society, Mangalore.
