Mangaluru: A quarrel between two friends met tragic end murdering one person, at Nekkilagudde, Derebail-Konchady here in the early hours of Monday, March 30.

The deceased has been identified as Ritesh (29), a resident of Nekkilagudde.

It is said, After returning a religious function at around 1 am, accused Prabhakar Bangera and Nishant Kavoor picked up a quarrel with Ritesh over some financial issue.

The arguments turned violent and Prabhakar and Nishanth attacked Ritesh with a sharp weapon, The effect of the attack Ritesh died on Spot.

Three of Ritesh’s friends were grieviously injured in the incident.

The accused have gone absconding, it is learnt. Kavoor police have registered a case.
