Moodbidri: A SBI ATM here in Moodbidri town burnt completely in a fire accident on January 31 night. Two ATM machines and an air conditioner were destroyed in the mishap.

Cash deposited in the ATM machine has been found safe and no damage is reported to it. Exact amount of the loss in the accident is not revealed yet by the SBI bank officials.

The local residents heard an alarm sound at night when the incident took place. Subsequently, they rushed into the ATM and disconnected supply of electricity to the ATM which prevented another accident in the area.
