Mangalore: A major fire mishap has been reported from the Primacy Candle Factory at Baikampady on January 10, Thursday night. The cause of the fire is not known and reports say the fire is still raging.

Fire tenders from the city as well as from MRPL and NMPT are struggling to put out the fire. The watchman of the factory noticed the fire at around 10.45 pm and informed the police and fire service personnel. It is said as most factories did not have night shift, not many were in the area when the fire broke out.
