Mangalore : The fire fighting personnel organized a mock drill to create awareness for the students of Rosario school and college on Jan 23 Monday.

The fire fighting personnel demonstrated the students to escape and save other people trapped in burning buildings.

Pandeshwar SI Ramakrishna briefed the importance of the demonstration and its necessity.

The fire brigade put up a flexible ladder to the second floor of the building, tied a safe knot around one student and rolled him down the rope to safety as a part of demonstration. The entire mock drill turned out to be a great learning experience for the students.

Fr Alvin Serrao, principal of Rosario College of Management studies and Aloysius D’Souza, headmaster of Rosario School were present on the occasion.
