Mangalore: The Fishco Festival ended on 11th February, Saturday at the College of Fisheries in city.

Research Director HRV Reddy of Bidar, Prashanth of Uganda in Africa, and Girish of Bangalore, alumni members all, participated in the activities.

Asha Nayak, a city criminal lawyer, gave the concluding address. Dr. Ramachandra Bhat, Dean, presided. Dr. Lokshmipathi and Dr. Manja Naik, staff advisors on student activities, and student leaders, were present on the occasion.

Overall championship in various competitions was won by Alva’s, Moodabidri group. Over 2000 students from 40 colleges from DK-Udupi districts took part in all activities such as cultural, literary and fine arts contests in Fishco Festival-2012.
