Bangalore : The Govt. has passed orders on five police officers transferring them from their present post. Mangalore City police commissioner Manish Kharbhikar has been transferred as DIG of KSRP.

R. Hitendra IPS has been appointed as a New City Police Commissioner in Mangalore from the date he takes over.

The other 3 officers of the state on transfer are Charan Reddy (Home Department secretary), B.A Padmanayana (DIG for prisons) and Ravindra Prasad (City police commissioner for Hubli-Dharwad)
