Mangalore : Yogish Shetty Jeppu, hitherto the Vice President of the Student wing of the State JD(S) has said that he along with J Ibrahim, District Vice President, Jyothika Jan, Chief Secretary, Siraj Derlakatte, District Student  of the students Cell and Salauddin Ayub from Ullal have decided to quit the JD(S)

Speaking to press persons on December 11, Tuesday, Shetty said the dissidence in the District JD(S) and the  failure of the district JD(S) chief to ensure fair treatment to everyone, has forced them to quit.

He accused the district chief MB Sadashiva of not taking workers into confidence and acting according to his own whims and fancies.

Shetty also said several more from the JD(S) would quit the party soon and added they will be faxing their resignation letters.

J Ibrahim, Jyothika Jain, Siraj Deralakatte and Sala Uddin Ayub were also present at the press meet.
