Mangaluru : The Mangaluru Police have arrested five persons in connection with the case of attacking a man after waylaying his car near the Padu post office close by Neermarga on December 10 evening.

Those arested are Suvith Rangapade (19), Ganesh Kapettu (23), Chethan Bantukatta (21), Keerthiraj Katinja (23) and Parikshith Padu (20).

The motive behind the attack is yet to be known. The victim Riyaz who has suffered injuries on his heads and in his eyes is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
