Bangalore: FKCCI (Karnataka), having preferred an appeal against state Electricity Regulatory Commission’s (ERC) order for Court Fee imposed on it for disobedience , is in High Court, with a writ petition admitted by latter by this week to solve the issue.
FKCCI Chief N.S.Srinivas Murthy, had challenged the provisions of Electricity Act 2003 and had to pay Rs.1lakh as levy to the ERC, for the appeal against its orders.
Murthy referred to the Court Fee as burdensome for an institution or individual, to challenge the ERC order. He was caught on the wrong foot by ERC today.
