Mangaluru: Minister for Food and Civil Supplies UT Khader said that upon stocking more than limited grains in any shops strict action will be taken.

Speaking to the press personnel on Wednesday at Edens Club, Mangaluru he said that the government has restricted the stock for retailers is only up to 50 quintals if the limit is exceeded then the stock will be seized.

“When it comes to whole sale shops, withng the town limit they can store up to 4000 quintals of grain and in village limit it is restricted to 2000 quintals,” he said.

He further said that it became necessary to restrict the stock limit for the smooth supply of food grains.

“Bogus BPL cards will be cancelled soon as the Aadhar linking process ends. 90% of the Aadhar linking process have been done and soon it will be completed,” he added.
