Mangalore : Large number of foreign tourists gets attracted towards the Pilikula Nisargadhama, which is a major eco – tourism destination located in the outskirts of Mangalore.

The location is being developed and becoming more important from tourist point of view, it has large collection of endangered and rare plant species of Western Ghats, medicinal plants, Biological Park with rare animals, reptiles and bird’s species, Heritage Village etc. Tourist from all over India and abroad are visiting Pilikula Nisargadhama.

Recently twelve groups of foreign tourists had visited Pilikula Nisargadhama. The groups consisted of more than 250 members from USA, Australia, Canada, Poland, Germany, Mexico had hands on experience of different crafts like Pottery making, Stone Carving, Cane works, Traditional Beaten Rice, Handloom, Carpentry, Traditional Oil extraction with bullock driven gana, blacksmithy etc.
