Mangalore : Former CM DV Sadananda Gowda who addressed press persons in Mangalore on October 17, Thursday stressed the need for a CBI probe into Sowjanya case.
He said the erstwhile government had handed over the case to the CID and said the state government should take into view the demands of the people and hand over the case to the CBI.
He further added that the attempts to criticize Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala and tarnish its image are condemnable.
He also demanded that the state government provided compensation to areca grower.
