Mangalore : Forum for Justice has decided to form a task force to eradicate corruption in the government offices after meeting the officers in government offices and request them to work without being corrupt said, Forum president Dayanath Kotian.
He was speaking at a press meet at the Press Club on September 26, Friday. He also said that the forum has formed a Task force to make the drive successful.
The task force will comprise of members including Sandhya Mohan, Ravindranath, Alexandar D’Souza, Vasudev Bolor, B R Sadashiv, Sadashiv Padubidri, Violet Pereira, Ashok G Bondel and Padmanabh Ullal headed by Praveenchandra Jain Moodbidri.
Later the forum submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim and urged him to provide help desk in the Mangalore City Corporation which can help the people to express their grievances and forum will work according to it.
The forum will work silently without shouting any slogans. It will also set up a grievance redressal unit in the Mangalore city corporation.
