Shimoga: In a public affront to local newspaper writers and employees, the Karnataka housing Board’s district planning g office in a communiqué issued on Thursday, informed that distribution of housing sites in Somna Koppa had been stopped with immediate effect, as complaints were received from several people that certain undeserving persons in the garb of scribes had bagged housing plots.

The order was issued by assistant executive engineer. The press note said that no registration could be made of sites already given by mistake, as per central office orders until further notice.
