Mangaluru : The four-laning road upto Pilikula Nisargadhama at a cost of Rs 69 lakh, was laid foundation on November 23, Monday.
Foundation was also laid on this occasion for the road work inside the Nisargadhama at a cost of Rs 2 crore under the aegis of the Coastal Development Authority.
The four-laning of a part of the approach road towards Pilikula is already complete at a cost of Rs 5 crore and the remaining portion upto the entrance will now be taken up.
Coastal Development Authority Chairman Mattar Ratnaker Hegde, Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, local Corporator Hemalatha Raghu Salian, PDO Ashok and others were present.
