Mangaluru : The Barke and Kadri police succeeded in arrested four accused in Rohith’s murder that took place near KSRTC bus stand in the city on May 8.

The arrested were identified as three brothers Yashwanth (40), Jagadish (36) and Shivjia (35), residents of Kadri and Gauthamchandra (30) from Bikkarnakatte. Yashwanth was arrested from Balmatta on Friday evening while the other three were arrested from near Kadri.

It is said that Jagadish was involved in five other cases registered at Kadri, Puttur and Uppinangady police stations.

Rohith and Roshan were attacked on May 8. Rohith died on the spot while Roshan suffered severe injuries. On inquiry, it was learnt that Roshan and Rohith used to meet the four accused at Kadri crematorium.

The accused were produced before court and were remanded to 15-days judicial custody.
