Puttur : Police arrested four more people in connection with the incident wherein the Grama Swarajya Ratha that was taken around on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day celebration at Kabaka was obstructed by a few people.

The arrested persons are Muhammad Haris, Muhammad Tausif, Naushad and Shamshuddin from Kabaka. They have been remanded to judicial custody.

Though all of them had applied for anticipatory bail, the same was rejected by the Fifth Additional District Court.
