Mangalore: A condolence meeting was organised at the Rajath Bhavan on December 10, to mourn the demise of Archbishop Ambrose Madtha, a wellwisher of Fr Muller institutions and Jacintha Saldana, an alumnus of Fr Muller School of Nursing. The members of the management, staff and students of Fr Muller School and College of Nursing attended the meeting.
They prayed that the souls of Archbishop Ambrose Madtha and Jacintha Saldanha rested in eternal peace.
In his message, Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator FMCON and FMSON while deeply mourning the demise of Jacintha Saldanha, a staff nurse at King Edward VII Hospital in London, said she was a student of Father Muller School of Nursing from 1984 – 1988, and was known to be dedicated and caring nurse.
“We express our deep-felt sympathies and prayers to her husband Benedict Barboza, their children Junal and Lisha and the family members,” he said.
Prayers were also offered to the Papal Envoy to Ivory Coast, Indian Archbishop Ambrose Madtha who passed away in a road accident
