Mangalore : CM D. V. Sadananda Gowda inaugurated the centenary celebration of the Akhila Bharata Billavara Union in Town Hall on Feb 12 Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, CM D. V. Sadananda Gowda said that Rs. 1000 crores will be allotted to the development of backward community in the upcoming budget. He also assured to set up a new theme park on Koti Chennayya in association with tourism department.
Speaking on the development project, he said that the recently inaugurated Koti Chennayya theme park will get an medicinal park and will be named in honor of Koti Chennayya’s sister.
He also assured to sanction fund to the new hostel, which is been planned for the construction by the Billava Union plans.
Remembering the works of Billava leader Narayana Guru, he said that his messages are worth and adorable to the youths also.
In his address, Naveenchandra D. Suvarna, the president of the Akhila Bharatha Billava Union, requested a special package for the Koti Chennayya theme park.
R. L. Jaalappa, the former minister, released a special edition of Brahmashree Guruvani on this occasion.
