Ganagamma Devi festival: an occasion to grab land by BJP?

Bangalore: KPCC member Dr. Gurappa Naidu has accused Home Minister R. Ashok, of trying to grab a forest land close to Gangamma Devi temple in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, coming under Padmanabha Nagar Constituency. The BBMP members were helping Ashok, Dr. Naidu alleged, referring to a festival going on there.
Ashok is MLA from Padmanabha Nagar, but he is maintaining silence while trying to corner the forest area for himself aided by local leaders, who probably have a share in the booty, the KPCC member alleged.
The temple is in the area under Forest Department. The festival is organised to divert attention of devotees. But the ruling party activities come under suspension, DR. Naidu stated.
