Bantwal: A group of 7-8 people attacked the passengers of a tempo traveller which was plying to Mangaluru from Bengaluru, near Narahari Parvatha, Kalladka on Monday.

Police have arrested Yogesh and Kiran in connection with this case.

A Bengaluru based tempo traveller has reportedly hit a Honda Activa scooter and escaped from the spot. Raged by this local people chased the tempo traveller and stopped it near Narahari Parvatha. It is also reported that attackers assaulted on women and children in the vehicle.

Injured passengers have been admitted in a private hospital in B C Road.
