Mangaluru  : A youth brutally assaulted with lethal weapons over an old enmity in Urwa police station limits late night on Sunday.

The injured youth is Shravan  has been hospitalised. A total of eight people had launched an assault on Shravan.

Police said a previous enmity relating to Indrajith murder case that took place in Barke in 2020 is the reason behind the  murder attempt.

Indrajith was hacked to death by the Talwar Jagga gang (Boloor gang).
