Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Union organised protests to condemn the brutal murder of senior Kannada journalist, aggressive thinker, social activist Gauri Lankesh on Wednesday in front of Dakshina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office in Mangaluru city.

The journalists urged the state government to arrest and punish the culprits immediately. Journalists also handed over a memorandum to the DC Dr KG Jagadeesha to press their demands inconnection with the case.
