Ullal: “Purpose of living even after not condemning the miscreants act to defame the goddess is waste. We should get ready for the protection of our religion,” said Kateel Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple priest Anantha Padhmanabha Asranna.

He was addressing the protest meeting held against a facebook post in which some has written defaming status regarding the Kateel goddess, organised by Shree Durgaparameshwari devotees, on Wednesday.

“We find our mother in Kateel goddess. There are only some people who say Kateel Shree Durgaparameshwari, we give the same importance to her as we give to our mother,” he said.

He further said that some devotees showed him the derogatory status on social media. In this district people of all faith live in harmony, and most of them visit the temple to offer prayers. Expressing thoughts against to a community, peace and culture is condemnable and strict action should be taken against them,
